The average price of a sedan in the U.S. is approximately $25,000. Just because a vehicle comes in with a price tag below that mark, doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't stack up well on content, features, safety or refinement when compared to its competitors. The Subaru Impreza and Subaru Legacy are the perfect cases in point.
Kelley Blue Book recently announced their "10 Best Sedans Under $25,000" and to Subaru owners, it's no surprise that the Impreza and Legacy landed a spot on the list.
Kelley Blue Book says, "The compact Impreza is the least expensive car you can buy with all-wheel drive. While Subaru's vehicles are renowned for reliability and resale value, some of them also appeal strongly to driving enthusiasts, served by the Impreza lineup in the form of the high-performance Impreza WRX and STI models." Of the Legacy, Kelley Blue Book calls it, "...the only midsize sedan that comes standard with all-wheel drive." KBB also says Legacy "is one of the best bargains out there.
