The Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew (TCC) program is expanding its reach in 2015 by adding IMBA's nine regional directors to the Trail Care Crew educational program. This will allow IMBA to serve a larger number of organizations as well as increasing the number of advanced training sessions.
Also in 2015, the roster of TCC sponsoring companies will expand. Subaru of America has generously supported the program in the title sponsor position for 18 years. The team of sponsoring companies now also includes Yakima, Trek Bicycles, Maxxis, Smith Optics and Dirt Rag magazine.
The TCC will remain IMBA's traveling trail-building experts and continue to serve IMBA chapters and other organizations in need of educational training sessions. Groups just getting their feet wet with trail building and trail advocacy are encouraged to continue applying for TCC visits. Groups needing more advanced training are also encouraged to apply. Each application will be assessed for its specific needs, and groups requesting higher-level service...from strategic planning to in-depth government relations work...will have access to IMBA’s region directors.
