Marion Subaru, through AdoptAClassroom.org, recently adopted Dawn Jackson's 3rd grade class at Washington School in Marion.  Each year, on average, teachers spend up to $500 of their own money for school supplies.  Thanks to Marion Subaru, the 3rd grade class will have more of what they need to succeed.

AdoptAClassroom.org has raised over $24 million over the years to help over 5 million students and over 200,000 teachers in over 137,000 classrooms.  Here's how it works:
  1. Donors find and fund a classroom by searching for a teacher they know, a school they have a connection with, or a subject they're passionate about.  100% of the donations go to the classroom.
  2. Teachers purchase supplies online.  AdoptAClassroom's partners provide a wide selection of everything from pencils and paper to iPads and projectors.
  3. Students then have the supplies they need to succeed.
  4. Donors receive updates on their impact.  They receive reports on what their donations were used for and how it helped students.
