When it arrives in September, Subaru's 2017 BRZ will come with a whole host of updates to the brand's only sport coupe. Thankfully, it's not going to charge you an arm and a leg to get access to all those upgrades. In fact, the base BRZ will start just $100 higher than the 2016 model.
The base 2017 BRZ Premium will start at $25,495, just a single C-note higher than the 2016. Yet, with that small price bump comes more power (205 hp total), improved chassis and suspension components and a lower final drive ratio that should improve acceleration. LED headlights and running lights are now standard, and there are some new steering-wheel controls on offer, as well.
Move up to the more expensive Limited model, and you'll be spending $27,645, which is $250 higher than before. This trim level adds a number of creature comforts, including keyless entry, push-button start, Alcantara seat inserts and a 4.2-inch display in the gauge cluster. Paddle shifters are standard on the automatic-transmission variant.
At the top of the lineup is the BRZ Series Yellow. This model is limited to just 500 units, and it includes a black-and-yellow motif with all the trimmings of the Limited model's performance package, which includes new wheels, Brembo brakes and Sachs shock absorbers. This one will run you $29,695, and it's not coming out until early 2017.
