Subaru Plans 3 Row SUV to Replace Tribeca


Subaru says the new three-row crossover planned to enter production in 2018 will be bigger than the outgoing Tribeca crossover it is replacing in the U.S. lineup.

The new vehicle will be manufactured at Subaru of Indiana Automotive Inc., the company’s assembly plant in Lafayette, Ind.

Subaru Posts "Best Ever" Sales Month


Subaru of America, Inc. today reported 50,517 vehicle sales for July 2015, a 10.5 percent increase over July 2014 sales of 45,714. July marks the best-ever sales month in company history, breaking the previous record set in August 2014 (50,246). The company also reported year-to-date sales of 322,935 vehicles, a 13.8 percent gain over the same period in 2014.

Subaru Profit Soars


One of the auto industry's little guys is quietly emerging as one of its biggest when it comes to profit margins.

Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., the maker of Subaru all-wheel-drive wagons, on Friday posted a 17.5% operating margin for its latest quarter, far exceeding larger Japanese auto makers and widely outpacing German luxury brands.

Subaru Posts 41st Straight Month of Growth



Subaru of America said April was its 41st consecutive month of growth, with sales up 18 percent from the year-ago month.

Subaru sold 47,241 vehicles last month, an April record. Year to date, sales are up 17 percent to 178,522 vehicles.

Subaru also said April was the 14th consecutive month with sales of more than 40,000 vehicles.
